HORIZONS UPDATE April 4, 2004

Please share this Horizons update with your members.

     Because  the current Contract has been extended, the Horizon Training/Retraining Program is still available under the 2001 Contract if the member is eligible for funding under this contract. The Horizons Working Committee had previously given a deadline of March 30, 2004; this was to allow time for all applications to be processed under the current contract.
Please urge your members to get their application into Horizons completely fill out. If they have a question they need to contact the help line 1-800-901-6135. Please understand that the Horizons group will process the applications as quickly as possible. As you all know the applications can only be process as long as the current contract is still full force & effect .
